The Way of the Pilgrim
Spiritual Stations (The Way of the Pilgrim)
This past Sunday we talked about the way of the Pilgrim. We defined the pilgrim as individuals who care about doing what works with humility for the sake of unity.
They are like the jazz improv artist. They will pull from past melodies and create new melodies all for the sake of creating art that works.
The pilgrim is a valuable voice in the church but often creates conflict between other Christians who are much more comfortable with how things have always been. This is why it is important that healthy expressions of the pilgrim in the church be rooted in humility and focused on unity.
